records.
Dang attorneys...they got all sorts a dough to spend.
There were only about 4000 of these bikes made in 69. Who knows how many exist now? This one still had the breadbox gas tank and fish tail exaust."If anybody can draw on the power, where do we put the meter?" - JP Morgan before pulling Tesla funding

Sold my 59 Bonneville several years ago for about half what the sales tax would be on yours Coolwhip.
Years ago, I had a 1954 Cushman Highlander, and a 1965 Super Silver Eagle Cushman (Shriner's version). The latter is now worth at least as much as you sold your bike for. It looked like a miniature Harley hog. I think I paid about $135 for it in the late 60's. Nobody wanted them.

The classic sting, rip-off, involves somebody who gives you a check, it'll be a cashiers check, for more money than you are selling the bike for. You are supposed to give the extra to the guy that shows up with a van or tow truck to take the bike away. The extra is to cover shipping, it can be more than the sale. You have just given them the money from your account because the bank cleared the check over a week ago. Now a month passes and suddenly your bank wants it's money back. Now the bank is saying the certified/cashiers check is no good. It was from an overseas bank. It was counterfeit. And your motorcycle is long gone.
