    Im selling my Triumph

Im selling my 1969 Triumph T150 Triple, its a beauty and I hate to let it go. I need to make room as I am inheriting 2 mint Cushman Eagles and a 69 Javelin.

I got a guy who insisted he have first look at coming by soon, Then I got 2 Brits coming by Thursday.

Besides cash, whats the best method of payment?....I dont want to get screwed.

If you take a check make sure your bank says it cleared and even then wait a few more days. never hurts to be on the safe side if you don't personally know the buyer.

Cash only, If anything else I usually take the person to my bank and make sure its in my account right then and there before I let them leave with the item.

i just bought a fishing boat. it was a 3 hour drive to another state and i wasn't sure who was going to be waiting for me when i got there. no way was i going to carry 20,000 in cash with me. we went to the bank (my bank had a branch in that town) and got a bank check cut which he deposited in his bank who verified the funds.

A little good old fashioned screwing never hurt anybody. Good trade some would say.
