Benny posted his Vietnam posts here http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=81541 on the heels or this story. I was with the 48th Brigade for a year and have know some of these guys from visiting the unit and some that have died that were older when I was there during Gulf War one that is not mention in this article. Haggin lived near me in a town just below mine. He was a tuff Kid. For a few weeks this was in my tag line.
We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.

I was in the Air Force with this boys father. He lived 6 houses away from me.

It is a tragedy when a young person loses a life. He looks like a great kid. Even when we don't know them personally, when someone near us is killed, it makes the horror of war more real.

I was with HHC BDE in Macon. Retired in Aug. 2000, just before they went to Bosnia.
Yes I am A Pirate, 200 years too late.
