    Goodman 90% Furnace

This was one of my last installs while training a new guy. We removed an old low boy furnace and replaced it with a Goodman 90%. My boss was notorious for selling systems with only a One pipe. It always made me so frustrated installing a 90% furnace without a fresh air intake. But gotta do what the boss says.

i would suggest that you put some egs on the corners of the return drop so you wont have a sag in the duct and the flex would be straight

I see no means of disconnect. Probably has the panel in the basement.
No Union allowed in the vestibule.

Miters look nice though. Overall looks great.

I'm surprised that they didn't opt for AC.

On a side notice. Looks like you tore the williamson apart while in place. I'm in cincy (where those plague on HVAC installers were made), and we see alot of um. Seems like it's easier pull all the plenum/drop screws, remove gas/electric - Then saw zall the feet off to get that 1" drop. you can pull it aside and let your helper take it apart and up the stairs while you set the furnace.
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."

"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."

    "Just get it done son."

Thanks the panel is in the basement. However I mounted the ssu on the backside of the furnace and ran greenfield to the filter side of the furnace.

It must have been nice to have that much room around the equiptment, rarely do we see that. Crawl spaces and closets are where I am at home

We are doing a williamson, on a third floor, in a closet next week.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but your boss must be pretty cheap to sell a direct vent furnace and tell you to only run the exhaust. What is the input btu and how big of a house?
