I have a Trane XL14i compressor and a Trane TWE031E13F VS air handler (attic). Single level ranch 1100sq feet. I have the TH5110d, but which t-stat would be better? Thanks

Thank you for the advice. The 8000 does seem like overkill, but I just wanted to be sure.

The 8000 would work on the system he has. It all depends on set-up.

both t stats are single stage, the 8000 is progamable and the top of the honnywell line, the 5000 is non-programable and verry reliable as well. both are made in 2 stage as well.difrent model #th8320u1008 for the 8000,th5220d1003 for the 5000. both of them can run heat pumps w/aux. heat oil, gas, elec. no fosell fuel kit needed.
