Long ago in this area a guy was caught stealing horses. We never knew if he was hung or was he hanged?

well the word hung can be used as the past tense or present ,
"he was hung when was found guilty in court they took him out back and hung him" and at the same time
" he was hung like a horse " but you would have to ask his wife about that
I'm not sure if hanged has a proper use unless your in the south

Do I have to write "Dear Abby"? She would know if a guy was hanged or hung. I think the guy was hanged, but he might of been hung like mrbillpro!

As the hanging judge in placerville,ca. use to say to the horsethiefs. We hung your partner last night & tonight we will hang you.
