    thanks ya'll for being so helpful...i have looked for the drafters in the ducts, and can not find them. only one area is getting suffecient air. please help. thanks

    where are the ducts?
    anyway,go to them and make sure they are connected and do not have any holes leaking air.

    it helps to take some lumber with you up there...anything big enough to hold your weight and reach across 2-3 ceiling joists.
    wait till dark,the temperture will drop 20 degrees up there.
