    Question

We have a Trane air handler that stops blowing after running for about a week (thermostat set at 75 in Orlando). If we turn it off for 3-4 hours and then turn it back on it seems to be good for another week or two. Any ideas? How much would this cost to fix?

    Thanks,

    Doug

Could be many things causing this, from bad motor to bad duct design. Sorry can't give prices on this site, it's against the forum rules that you agreed to when you signed up. I would try to get a good competent tech to troubleshoot this problem for you. Just be patient as intermitent problems can be difficult to figure out at times. Hope this helps.
