Those fancy, high-tech, internet job-search sites suck!
You fill out endless pages of questionable info that supposedly help categorize your skills and experience.
They apparently think there is some major technological difference between manufacturers of residential split systems.
So you spend a lot of time checking boxes for Rheem vs. Amana or Bryant,
And apparently there are major technological differences between commercial icemakers. So you must carefully document your
experience with Ice-O-Matic vs. Scotsman or Manitowoc!?
You post your resume.
They apparently don't read/comprehend it.
For example..
If you were the "lead widget tech" for a leading widget manufacturer,
and there is no "lead widget tech" box to check.
Maybe you check "senior widget tech".
Potential employers, looking for people with your background, check "widget foreman" or "widget supervisor".
The fancy high-tech website won't send them your resume!
And, you can't re-submit it!
And, they won't return your Email!
So, post on HVAC-Talk job listing, where people can go "Hey I'm a lead widget tech looking for work!"
or "We're looking for a good widget tech with 10 years experience!"
Just my 2 cents...

Thanks Steve,
Everything is cool, I am gainfully employed.
Thanks Dan,
I may have been a little harsh, but I believe I have a valid complaint.
