That is a nice feeling. We were 11 years in our last house and had it over 1/2 paid off. Now we're starting over.

My sister got pregnant just as her daughter turned 18. I said "well Amber, there goes your freedom for another 18 years" but that little girl of hers is worth every minute.

Our house is over 100 years old. The best thing about it is that it is paid for. I have over the last 26 years ripped out every room and rebuilt it. Rewired it replumb it sided it etc.etc. So I have everything you would find in a new house except BIG taxes and BIG mortgage payments.

My baby 24 yo and I just came back from camp. He is helping me build a tree house for the grandkids. My oldest child will be 38 in Oct.

Well Mattm your Sister's wee one is a bevey of smiles... That makes her your niece. Who's the young lad... jr. 007?

I miss the days when my kids were that young... as I raised my boys as a single parent.
These two children in the pic you post....

They are the runners, next inline for the world coming up... and we depend on them doing a good job.
Teach the apprentices right... and learn from their questions and ideas.

The lad would be Matt II. Not quite as wild as I was at his age and I'm freek'n glad of that.
