    Was talking to a fellow contractor and he asked me if I heard anything about ARI trying to get the EPA to eliminate the lifetime EPA certification and requiring a periodic retest.

    Haven't heard anything myself, but I thought I'de throw this out and see.

    Sounds like a Rumor to me, why would ARI care about the EPA rules? I would let that lie like a sleeping dog.

    If the ARI were able to eliminate the lifetime certification and get periodical testing required, I' am sure the retesting woudn't be free. The ARI would stand to profit from it I'm sure. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me a bit. One more expense for us all !
