    Lazy? Untrained?

I was replacing the second stage compressor on a Coleman type York yesterday, and when I saw this, I could not help but share these with you.

First, the install crew either did not know or did not care to remove the shipping bolts and replace them with the T-handle fasteners used on the access doors.

Next, the guy who came along and did a first stage repair decided it would somehow be beneficial to install a sight glass in the discharge line. It might be intersting in a HVAC school to see the oil that goes blasting by the glass on startup, but there is really no need for this in the field.
