    I did consider that option, however I figured that every time I looked at the new piece I would be reminded of what it was originally. So I figured it was best to just dump it!

    It's not like the ex and I don't get along or hate each other. Heck, I bought a new vehicle from him last December! I would just prefer for the engagement and wedding ring to disappear forever.

    No regrets here...
