First of all I don't know much about HVAC, but I learn pretty fast.
I have a Rudd Silhouette, the unit is in my attic. The PVC pipe going into the unit is leaking at one of the elbow joints. I am not sure if this is condensation or an actual leak, but it appears like a leak, but it appears to only happen when running my air during the summer. Is this common? If not how can I fix this? Can I put some sort of seal around their or something to protect it from doing this, insulation of some sort?

Please call for professional help on this matter. The reason this is being said; is because the damage done to your ceiling for something not done correctly, would make the service call well worth its money!
Have a nice day.

No this isn't common. Get a pro to inspect/replace the pipe because if one joint was done incorrectly, chances are there's more.
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.
