The average furnace runs about 1,000 per year. Analogous to an automobile, if you drove your car at 30mph for 1,000 hours, you'd put on 30,000 miles in a year. What that means is that since 1978, your furnace has 'driven' 990,000 miles! Would you really want to put a transmission in a car that's gone 990,000 miles? Even over the road, diesel trucks are considered old at 990,000 miles. Cars are unheard of going that far and likewise, you're wasting way too much money on that old beast. Do yourself a favor and get a new furnace. If properly sized and installed, you'll be way more comfortable at a much lower monthly cost.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!
