At a local water treatment plant. Got a call to get rid of window units and replace with a package unit to serve water labs on the second floor.

I find the roof drain more interesting....one roof draining onto another and with a bowed pipe. At least in wasn't a hard removal for you.

Maybe add a bonus pipe support or three while you are there
The way we build has a greater impact on our comfort, energy consumption and IAQ than any HVAC system we install.

Water treatment plant? what a sh*tty job! I like the PVC downspouts. Obvious that the plant workers did those, vs. the metal drainspout on the side.

I think it is closer to a running trap.

Ok I see all of the Pvc collecting the roof water, but where does it drain? This was done to keep the roof water from the drinking water. My suggestion to you ACCUBAL is don't drink the water.

no, you rig up a way to boil the h2o into steam with the discharge tubing from those window units. then you pipe the steam to the evaporator coils and condense it! there you go!!!

Look at the roof drain scuppers and their associated drain piping further down the building from the window unit.

Can anyone see how those scuppers are supposed to drain??

I noticed that after my first post....

    1. the pvc has holes in it that we can't see for the giant lawn sprayer effect.
    2. one scupper is higher than the next so they feed back onto the same roof.

It'd be an easy bet to say their roof leaks....
