New liquid line connected to new a-coil in new air=handler.Line never even connected to new condensing unit.A co-worker installed the new inside unit and liquid line 1 week ago and sealed it/charged it with nitrogen. This is on second floor and line ends in basement.Today I cut the end off to finish the line to outside and oil starts dripping out the end.A lot of it.This is new inside system & a-coil and neither ever hooked up to a condensing unit.Anyone ever ran it to this?

It was vac pump oil. If you dont close of the pump when you shut it off it gets sucked into the line.

I'm not sure this guy would have pulled a vacuum just to seal the line while not hooking it to a unit, but I'll check. Thanks for that info though.so you close the pumps valve & t hen turn pump off.Thanks.Still new don't you know.
