    1) I direct connect to the N30 with Windows Dial Up mode
    2) I am able to connect perfectly it shows that I am connected
    3) I already have Project Builder running in Loader mode
    4)"Upload" and "Download objects" is grayed out on the
    tool bar
    5) I click on HVAC Pro Pass thru mode Site manager runs
    6) 5 minutes ,Nothing happens
    I try to run regular HVAC Pro ,am told that Site
    manager is running HVAC PRO pass thru mode
    7) How long does this take
    8) I know I am missing something THE connection status
    window on the Taskbar shows there are no bytes being
    recieved and no bytes sent, but I am connected

    I selected edit site
    I am connected with a null modem cable
    I selected N30 object to edit
    UPload and Download objects is still grayed out

    Yes I typed in the exact name of the N30
    Case and Space sensitive
    There is only one N30 on the site

    First go into network profiles and check setup...
    unit should auto connect did you build the site??
    Check your passwords and make sure thay are right..

    more info i'll try to help

    also check your com settings..i.e. 9600 or 56000

    I do not think I am performing the
    proper sequence of operations with
    the software
    I open Project Builder Then I open site master
    I have Project builder in loader window
    I think I am missing something here

    I dug out my N30 stuff, I have 10 pages on the procedure for up/downloading objects. I'll scan and send them your way if you'll give me a good address.
