Do they go bad?
Is there a limit when distributor tells tech no more free warrantee replacements for fan blades?
Carrier unit is only 10 month old?
Anyway, can blade be ballanced vs replaced?

They can be out of balance. Cheap as stuff is made these days, won't surprise me. Should be covered under mfrs' warranty which is 5 on a Carrier.

Thanks, I hope 3rd blade replacement is going to be a winner.

could be something other than the blade, the motor shaft could be bent. Might not be fitting up into the venturi far enough.
What is the complaint?

Very loud. I can barely talk with tech, when condencer is running. He was trying to level it with 3/4" PVC.... Still pretty loud.

Maybe you can look up and tell us your model number. Sometimes in smaller units (1.5 and 2 ton) the unit is fairly small in its footprint. These smaller units generally have a smaller diameter fan which may have 3 or 4 blades in order to move enough air. One of the Carrier gurus might be able to tell by model. I remember the 1.5 ton LE had 6 blades and was noisy as about any fan I have ever heard.
Also, if its a two blade fan, you may experience a chopping sound but this is usually a low frequency beating noise like from a helecopter rotor.

Try cleaning the condensor coils....
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.
