I found water leaking though my ceiling below the attic, and found the drip pan from the A/C overflowing. It appears that the metal housing that stores the coils is rusted out in several areas and most of the condensation is leaking through the box before it gets to the drain, which the manufacturer placed 1 inch above the bottom of the housing.
HERE’S THE QUESTION!! What can be done to the existing pan to keep the water flowing out from it.
    Thanks all in advance!

If the drain pan is rusted out,it'll have to be replaced with an OEM or a shopbuilt one.

Actually the pan is in great shape, I just need to be able to drain from the pan, it's the housing ABOVE the pan that's leaking INTO the pan. Thanks again for your reply, Richie
