Thread: A/C NOT COOLING

    My air condition unit has freeone in it, but it is blowing out warm air, what could be the problem. There is no ice on the pipes at all. the a/c guy come out yesterday and replaced my compasator and put freeone in it, and it was cool. Then i get home this morning and the unit outside is blowing, but it is warm in the house.

    What could be the problem. PLEASE HELP!

    It could be over charged.

    The compressor might be bad.

    A wire could be loose.

    Call him again, and have him recheck it.

    the valves in the compressor could be out too, or if the tech added refrigerant you may have a leak that has become worse after the unit was charged back to full capacity

    Ask the tech to come out telling him the problem is still there, it's apparent that he didn't fix your problem.
    Check behind your outside unit,you will find two copper lines, while the a\c has been running for a few mins. your
    bigger copper line should be cold and wet while the smaller line should be warm not hot.
