    Hi all,

I am looking for a software that can do load calculation.
I need it to be able to calculate the load at very large lab area. in the lab there are many tools. the air condition units are in the floor above the lab. the air is coming from the floor and move up to the cieling.there is unit for each zone in the lab, but the lab is one big space.
I heard about programs like trace 700, or DesignBuilder (based on energy plus-with graphical interface), but I want to know if some one have any recommendations

I will be gratefull if someone could instruct me.

Trane 700 is a good program for that type of application. It's very flexible. It does take time to input all the data and you have to be careful when inputing the data. It can be a pain to find a mis-entered value.

We use it for running all of our loads. Just finshed a running a load on a hospital with it.

Consider HVAC-Calc which is advertised at the top of the page right here at HVAC Talk.
