Maybe different areas have different hours but...my husband gets his 40+ during the summer. Averaged out as 60 hours weekly and during the winter as a tech he averaged 40 weekly. He makes decent money as a tech. So, I don't buy into the no overtime allowed as I see his pay stubs.
Yes, what they did was nice. I am grateful for what they did. They didn't have to do it. If it wasn't for their generosity (regardless of where the money came from) my husband would have been alone in the hospital for 10 days.

Hello everyone. Two years ago my husband was offered a job with Lennox NAS. I was extremely skeptical of the offer placed on the table and went about doing research online. I stumbled across this forum and was completely against him accepting the job offer. The things I read here from past employees, current employees, and people simply placing their 2 cents terrified me.
However, my husband accepted the job offer. I am here to tell you that after being in the Lennox NAS family for 2 years that this is by far the best company my husband has worked for and he has been in HVAC for 23 years.
This company that I was so skeptical about flew me out of state where my husband was when he had to have emergency surgery while working/training for them. No, the emergency surgery was NOT because of anything that happened on the job or job related. THAT speaks volumes regarding a companies standards. They didn't have to do that.
Lennox also offered my husband a competitive wage, benefits, sick leave, and vacation time when he began employment with them. I don't know about where any of you guys work, but of all the places my husband has worked he has NEVER started out with any vacation or sick days that were available immediately.

I hope this post will help others who are skeptical of Lennox NAS employment.
    I am truly sorry.

I never imagined that someone could work in this trade for 23 years, and have experienced employment situations that would lead someone to praise Lennox NAS by comparison.

On the other hand, what you have been reading in this thread is written by people who have good employment experiences subsequent to NAS. I declined a job with them after a long talk with one of their guys on a roof several years ago. I'm here to tell you that yours is the first and ONLY account that I have heard which is positive, compared to what I have learned from that technician, and after.

Because of the information I found, and the experiences posted here, I can only imagine that your experience with them is sadly, "unique."

Never heard anything positive about LNAS here, or in Albuquerque, or in Tucson.

Here is my story, I worked for lnas for about 3 years as a tech. I went through 5 mngrs in this time span, all but one of which were great mngrs. Lnas is absolutely numbers driven, branch numbers, profits, rankings, tech numbers, tech rankings, ect. This company has no soul, and they will kill yours as well if you stay long enough. Now my experience is based from the south east region where Jim Dilks is the regional mngr. This man will stab you in the back any chance he has. I have seen it happen to many techs and unfortunately it happened to me a while back, I hated when he was in town because I knew he would ride around, or send his little lapdog of a super tech to spy on us and find things to fire you over. I would bring in 20-30k profit each month up until my first child was born, who had some medical problems and was in nicu for a while. When my numbers started dropping to 10-15k a month, he started to try and find things to fire me over. I remember going to a store on a service call and writing up some things that needed to be replaced, after submitting a quote, the store had another company go out to verify and they played the whole nothing is wrong deal to try and steal a customer. Well Jim told me to meet him at this location and I showed him everything that was broken, and it was broken. He throws a hissy fit because the units I wrote up had dust in them, I was fired a few days after. Instead of standing up for me, he just threw me under the bus. I want everyone reading this thread to take warning, do not work for lnas, especially in the southeast region. This company does not care anything for its employees, and will work them like dogs, even pit them against each other. My mngr even said that it was wrong what they did to me. I honestly dont think the problem ends with jim dilks, I think it goes higher than him. They have the highest turnover rate for techs I have ever seen, and the people above him have to see it, but they do nothing. Getting fired from there was the greatest thing that ever happened to me, I immediately found a better higher paying job that treats me more like a human and less like a machine. I will now and forever be against lnas until I take my last breath, they have screwed too many good people over and left them in the cold to fend for themselves. Im not so angry about it anymore because I know that they will lose all of their customers eventually, customers will only put up with being screwed for so long.

Gotta love Mr. Dilks. I was in that region. Is Jeff still Jim's big helper?

His other buddy was Ken something, I do not remember his last name. He worked for me in Cleveland, I think he was a corporate snitch. He left and went back down south to Jimmy and not many days after that they tore apart our office and told me to get in a truck or be fired, so I left the company. The kicker was that my wife was due any day to give birth to our son. They had nothing on me, just that I didn't have high numbers because I wouldn't charge customers for things they didn't need. I will never forget that awful place, I cant wait to see them go down in flames. They hurt a lot of good people for their gain.

Guys, the really good news is that this kind of approach is not sustainable. You can only screw with so many outfits until word gets out.

    Then, you are done.

It may not happen tomorrow, but people will start looking at the Co with a jaundiced eye. That much is certain.

I don't think anyone has lasted at LNAS more than a year in this city.

I think his name was ken strauss or something, he is a big time corporate snitch. He replaced a long line of super techs in the region because all the other guys knew it was wrong looking for things so jim could fire them to make himself look better

LNAS has a job posting every other month around this area, seems like techs run for the hills real quick. Now they are looking for a mgr also.

One of my co-workers quit to go work at LNAS a few weeks ago. They promised him the world to get him in there, and from what I hear he's already looking for another job. We tried to warn him, but some people just don't listen.

A supply house guy said Lennox (LNAS) has got to be the place to work at. He said the name Lennox is synonymous with Daikin, Johnson Controls, Trane, and United Technologies. I just laughed off the comparisons. Not all brands are co-equals in Service!

yeah I interviewed with these guys and got offered quite a bit more money. It was going to take the job before the guy told me I would be running At least 3 major towns covering in two states. and probably have to stay overnight in hotels for a full week once a month. on a side note how many p.m. Boxes does it take to pm 30 Lennox rooftop units. Can one guy lift!

Pay period starts on Saturday and ends on Friday. If you get close to overtime during the week you get off. Then they'll run the hell out of you again on weekend. They charge overtime and prohibit the tech. Damn I hate that place. Have a mentioned that before?
