While it's good to hear something positive from someone about NAS, I have to tell you that you are in the minority in my experience. I bump into these clueless kids all the time, and I can tell, you, if you are willing to lead the clueless, you have more patience than I would have.
From what I know of NATE, that qualifies a tech to know which end of the screwdriver to use. I'm not sure I would promote that cert to anyone outside of the public.
In short, I can't say that it's a business model I'd expect to have a long lasting existence. I'm glad you have a good job, but man, I don't expect it to last real long. What the heck can you sell to a store that just had all the units replaced? Nothing, so you peddle the Co to another store, and so on. Pretty soon, with managers intermingling at different corporates and stores, you find that the golden goose has croaked its last.
The guys I talk to said they were much better off with Tradewinds and Benner.
Good luck with that.[Avatar photo from a Florida training accident. Everyone walked away.]

Hopefully some one at Lennox NAS is reading this(corperate) and understands how unhappy it's employees are. Hopefully those company's that are selling out will read this and understand what NAS is doing to there employees and customers that they worked so hard to get and think twice about selling to them. If not I see a really short life span. Or maybe it is just a company to pass through and get your foot in the door. I do not know first hand because I am fortunate enough to work for an exellent company. The two company"s I have worked for in my 26+ years in the bizz have been great to me. I do know if you treat your employees like a crap that is the kind of work you will get from them.

NEXTECH is CMS, and they loose accounts after their customers finally figure out there getting it over the barrel.
PM adds, cometely rip the customer off and do absolutely nothing positive for the custs equipment! How many damn contactors and lp/hp safeties can one damn package unit need every 3 months????
Fffffff rip off!

LennoxNAS math:
each van has to make 300,000 a year/or 1000.00 a day, else we are terminated. We are told not to sell needless parts, but with low p.m. counts ( and getting lower as customers bail) and an average p.m of ~75.00, not selling needless parts(contactors anyone?) = TERMINATION. Last week I know off 3 techs and 1 manager that quit, and one more manager quitting next week. It's almost like they want us to leave....

Yup!
All of them under the Ares Holding umbrella!
Your only productivity reviews with them will be sales only!
Your truck has to make atleast 250k a year, an that's for a 20$ an hour tech!
25$ an hour better be over 300k or kiss your ass good bye..
And like previously said, it's hard to make the cash on small pm's, and newer equipment!
