    McQuay

Just curious if any of you seasoned Tech's know or remember when McQuay went out of the Commercial Refrigeration Business...??? I am thinking late 70's or early 80's, but I don't know for sure.

Actually when the McQuay A/C division split from the refrigeration division the refrigeration equipment name changed to Chandler Refrigeration. It's still going strong, here's the link.

The A/C division is still called Mcquay.

I think the change was in the early 80's. I still have the Mcquay refrigeration catalog at work

    THANKS........

I see McQuay Refrigeration was bought out by Snyder General in 1984 and has since gone to Chandler (Heatcraft).

The former McQuay Commercial Refrigeration line is now under Heatcraft which is owned by Lennox.
