Saw this for the first time last night. 12,000btu window shaker low on gas, R22. Off the bottom of the condenser the liquid line goes straight to a cap tube. From there it goes to a larger line that then goes to a set of distrubutor tubes and then into the evap. I would think that the cap tube would flash the liquid off before it even got to the distributor tubes, wouldn't you want a solid column of liquid going into the evap? Anyway got it charged up and running great, but what gives with that strange setup. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
