If you have cast iron radiators, you should speak with a hydronics expert in your area before committing to hydro-air. Most folks would readily give up their hydro-air installations to have real cast iron radiators.
If on the other hand you're mislabelling the distribution system and calling finnded copper baseboard radiators, then that's a different story.
Yes your boiler can be used to run a hydro-air system but, since you don't state your reasons for the switch it's just a guessing game for us out her on the cloud.
Castl iron is a radiant panel by any other name. It can produce heat at very low water temperatures and ideally would be driven by a modulating/condensing gas boiler (if gas is the fuel) that will regulate the heating water temperatures up/down according to the outdoor temps. That can and should lead to constant heat throughout most of the winter. It's very difficult to re-produce that with other forms of hydronic heat, except for radiant floors, walls or ceilings.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!
