Obama has stolen Carter's Legacy as the worst President in History

Obama in only two years has stolen Carter's legacy as the worst President ever. What an achievement. Single handedly made a depression turn into an insurmountable dept burden passed on the the future of our kids and grand kids.

Destroying what is left of the economy and causing the continued loss of jobs while increasing the bureaucracy of government to prevent recovery. Making regs on the use of coal and slag very costly so our power rates will continue to soar and brownouts in the future.

Soon I predict he will make it all most impossible to build more nuclear power plants because of mistakes made by the Japanese on their "safety" standards for nuclear power. He is making sure while we are still fighting in Afgan we can not win with the unbelievable "rules of engagement" there.

Even Hillary is saying she has had it with him. What a jerk and what jerks are those who voted for him and sung his phrase even on this forum. Thank you, thank you very much

glennac, no disrespect intended, but it's amazing to me how uneducated we are as Americans. The President of the United States on his best day CANNOT make a law or regulation. He has influence, but CONGRESS is the responsible party. You can blame Obama all you want, but as long as we continue to elect the career politicians that have been running this country for the last 30-40 years it doesn't really matter who the President is.

By the way I think we would agree on most everything regarding our current President.

Re-elect no-one if you ever want this country to regain its status as great.

Freon, have you ever hear of the EPA, NRC, DOD, etc.? They all make regulations without the consent of Congress just the President. Obama is responsible and only him. Now Congress has from time to time tried mostly unsuccessfully to reign these parasites in through laws but the Democrats and RINOs do a good job of blocking those efforts.

I feel like you have socialists, liberals, middle of the roaders and then real conservatives and libertarians in Congress. Lets keep the latter two in there and get rid of all the rest. That means all the Democrats and quite a few Republicans. That is how I see it. Other than that we are in agreement. Thank you, thank you very much

I personally think you are giving him way too much credit. But if you think he wakes up every day and has time to go to all of these agencies and tells them what rules and regulations to develop then O.K. I didn't think he had that kind of free time.

Now about the ideas of who to get rid of in congress. I agree with you 100%. The only issue I have is can you guarantee me that the the ones you speak of that are to be kept in are really what you think they are? I guarantee that at the end of the day they ALL sit down together and make deals to help themselves. They do most of there disagreeing for our sake. And of course we all know they would never lie to us.

    And another thing.
A strong and honest Congress can do their jobs without the consent of the President.

Obama appoints the head of the agencies. He selects them based on how well they will do what he wants. If they didn't follow his agenda then he will ask for their resignation. Obama could have picked up the phone and tell the Coast Guard to stop the delay and let the ships start skimming the oil out of the Gulf but he didn't.

He could tell them to start letting drilling begin in the Gulf again. He can tell them to do away with the new regs hurting our fossil fuel plants and letting more go on line. One example is the only well given a permit and just for re entry for a 660 ft deep well in the Gulf took a 3,600 page application which has taken months just ti fill out. On and on and on. He has plenty of free time to destroy our economy and he is using it to the max.

As far as Congress goes just look at their record and act accordingly. Like down here in Georgia Sen. Saxby Chambliss is in danger of a strong challenge when he runs again in the Republican primary because he is perceived as somewhat of a RINO trying to work out a compromise with the commie loving Democrats on the budget.

We need to cut it to the bone and stop wasteful spending. He got his neck out there on that issue. You have to remember that Congress unfortunately is elected by all Americans including those who have no business voting. Can't read or write, on welfare, illegal, minorities voting more than once, etc. If I had my way women wouldn't be able to vote either because of their bleeding heart nature. Thank you, thank you very much
