just replaced condensing unit with suction line filter. At service valves head pressure 180,suction pressure 90.Air-flow in evap coil fine in and out.In 78 out 74,outside ambient 85.Humidity 50%.Superheat almost non-existent.Suction line at outside unit very cold to touch and sweating profusely.Fixed oriface metering device.New house construction.Last outside unit lasted one month and had a severe burn-out.Fosgene gas in the extreme while replacing.Double checked my gauges and ok.Is this a metering device issue-oversized?-or could it be an inproperly charged issue?I'm new and I can't figure why I have such a low temp split along with abnormal low/high pressure readings. No temp diff across suction filter.

Are you putting in the same brand and size condenser as you removed.

Pump the unit down and check the piston, to see if it is the right size.

0 degrees superheat, high suction, low head. looks like
oversized orfice or oversized coil with overcharge. next time give us subcooling.
remember subcooling superheat and pressures = correct answere.
