just replaced condensing unit with suction line filter.At service valves head pressure 180,suction pressure 90.Air-flow in evap coil fine in and out.In 78 out 74,outside ambient 85.Humidity 50%.Superheat almost non-existent.Suction line at outside unit very cold to touch and sweating profusely.Fixed oriface metering device.New house construction.Last outside unit lasted one month and had a severe burn-out.Fosgene gas in the extreme while replacing.Double checked my gauges and ok.Is this a metering device issue-oversized?-or could it be an inproperly charged issue?I'm new and I can't figure why I have such a low temp split along with abnormal low/high pressure readings.No temp diff across suction filter.
