I use to go to http://www.summerac.tripod.com and now it looks like something is wrong with this web page. Can somebody tell me if there is another place I can check in the internet? I could check resistance in the compressor and a bunch of valuable info. relate to HVAC.
Thank you God Bless America.

I expained wrong. I am sorry guys. I know how to check resistance in a compressor, I just want to check the actual compressor resistance compare to the reading I am taking when checking a unit.

Resistance values as absolutes are not much value. They vary widely with manufacturer, size, temperature, etc.
Basically what you should look for is relatively low resistance on the start and run windings, most likely under 10-20 ohms, even in the single digits. You should have no measurable reading from any coil connection to the matal housing of the compressor(ground). Any readings would indicate ground leakage or a ground short. These readings should be over 1 megohm.
