I love it, get the unit serviced every 6 months and it fails after 10 years. I still say servicing that frequently has no effect on the life of the equipment. Did the last tech happen to leave the gauges hooked up on the unit? If so that is probably where your freon went. A leak the size of yours should not be too difficult to find. Nitro charge with refrigerant trace, get out the sniffer and find that sucker. Once the tech finds the leak he should be able to give you a firm price on repair.
