    Question

Got a good deal on a new old stock Gmt45-3 furnace .ive put many 90% in basements and air handlers in the attics but im putting this unit in the attic horizontaly and it says you can mount it in this position but maybe im brain locked!! there is no holes to move the draft blower out the side when i lay it down! ive never done an 80% horizontaly in a attic but it looks like you dont have to turn the draft blower on this or any 80% since there is no condensate drain on the 80% furnace only on a 90% correct me if im wrong!!!

The earlier model of GMTs did not have the ability to rotate the vent motor for side discharge. Just put an elbow on the vent as it comes out of the top of the unit.

Be careful not to get in your own way with the refrigerant lines to the evap coil.
