I have a customer who wants a humidifier installed on his heat pump system. The air handler is in the attic. Freezing is a concern. I am thinking of mounting a plenum in the garage , running a supply and return to it and installing the humidifier on the plenum. would this be effective enough?

Been my experience on an air to air heatpump if its not a
steam humidifider then it will not work well.
Just tell them to by a floor model..I know it not central but it will flow to the coldest and dryest area any way.
