    Apprentice Wage

I am hoping for some feedback on what is perceived as a fair wage for and apprentice and how they are to log their time.
For a second year(2 years school and equivelant to 1 1/2 years in hours) apprentice what would the range of wages be in your opinions?
How would an apprentice usually charge their hours?
Is it standard that only time on a job be paid for?
I realize some will be more competant than others and thus there will be a variance.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

There should be an agreement between your local and the contractors as to the starting pay scale and the scheduled increases throughout the 5 year apprenticeship.

As for charging your hours, I'm assuming you mean how much time to put towards each call. It's sort of a gray area but I generally start the clock when I'm leaving one job to go to the next, in other words- put travel time on the job you are heading to.

depends on your area and apprenticeship commitee (union or merit shop) and several other factors, with some more info I can tell you exactly what your scale is and the industry average in your area

    Thanks for answer

The region I am in is BC, Canada.
I work for an independant business, so not union.
Our work is mostly residential installation and servicing of units.
I do installs of new units myself and do the service calls and trouble shooting calls as well.
