Hooters at the convention.
Well, the closest hotel would be in Lancaster which ain't all that close, but we'd be more than happy to have it at our place rather then have to drive 2 hours to the Inner Harbor.
We could make it a campout.

My doctor gave me six months to live, but when I couldn't pay the bill he gave me six months more.

This is what Baltimore's "Block" was like in it's heyday; http://jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu/~grau_c/block.html
Unfortunately The Block has gone through some very rough times since then. In my youth it was still known for Blaze Starr at the Two-O-Clock club but was starting to go downhill even then.
I worked at several places on The Block during the 70s and early 80s just before the AIDS epidemic hit. From what I understand about 70% of the women on the inner city circuit that included The Block died of AIDS.
Now, the drugs and prostitution are just so blatant that it isn't even enjoyable to go to people watch. What is amazing is that to appease a social outcry to close down The Blocks sexual activities the main precinct of the Baltimore City Police Department was built right on Baltimore street right in the middle of the stripclubs.
The Baltimore Street side of the PD is the rear of the building and as if saying that justice is blind there are no windows facing Baltimore street.
