    I turn my central AC for the first time this year. The 3 year old Keepright unit started up, the compresor sounded OK, fan turn for a second or two. And it did that couple more times when I udjusted termostat. It just won't stay ON.
    What should I look here for. Should it need recharging already?

    check you breakers change batteries in stat if needed clean/change filter even though it probally has nothing to do with you problem.
    if none of that fixes it look for a telephone book and call a pro.
