    Can anyone recommend a good ref detector. Right now I'm looking a Inficon for around $150. Thanks for your input. jmandtc.

    d-tek which will cost about 300.00 or really ge which has a new japanese name is actually the best at a cost of around 400.00. but you buy cheap you get cheap.

    i really like my inficon. i have the tek-mate. works real good!! got it at johnstone supply for about $145. nice too is that they're made in e.syracuse. can go to the factory if i have problems. 2ys & no probs so far. i have the shark,vortex,22,& 410 gauge set too. like it all http://www.inficon.com

    Ive had the same "H-10" for 5 years now......

    Wonderful,durable, accurate product. IMO

    You can grab one off E-Bay for around $100. (used)

    The H-10 is the best lead detector you can bye well worth the price. I always keep one on the service truck. I also have a Tif that I have good luck with. I just got a Inficon Tak-mate that seem to work well. I just takes to dam long to warm up.
