Looks like WI teachers union ran into stiff resistance
So, why do you think the teachers union dropped their suit?
Union Teachers go soft on suit because of firm stand with unions

I think the teachers needed to keep up good public support.

Absolutely necessary, and a testimonial that their lack of stimulation caries over into their
home life as well as their careers. So thats what they mean by a high drop out rate!!!

It appears that a lack of stiffness was the original problem. Just as well, as a taxpayer, I don't want to pay for it.
