    Frown Who do I remove condenser cleaner residue from condenserfins and brick???

    I am a hvac-r maintenance superviser with assos. degree in hvac-r and epa cert ,also a new member here. I have been working in the feild for 2 years, But i am looking for a way to remove condenser cleaner residue from our condensers units and brick walls.NO it was'nt me HaHA just another job done wrong.

    I would use a power washer on your walls and a regular garden hose on the condensers. Flood the condensers with water. It will come off.

    re-wash the coils with cleaner, and rinse better

    Thanx i Guess i will try that first, as far as the brick/ the p tac unit is on the second floor and we have 18 of these units all on the sesond floor some over brick and some over vinyl siding and I hope someone can tell me what cleaner to use next time so this doesent happen again.

    Just how dirty were they when first cleaned? Sometimes it's best to just use water or maybe some milder cleaner like the green evap cleaner. On those ptac types, can you just remove them and take them outside?

    This is what I like to do with PTAC's... pull then and roll them outside. This way one can control where the water goes... and get them squeaky clean.

    If this is a retirement home... there is always the issue of the folks that live in the unit...

    Hate to give ya bad news...but to do it properly, you need to pull them out of their case and take them to a picnic table and really clean them....

    Anything short of this is wasting time...........

    Thanx for all the info on this ,still wondering about the brick. I am tring to learn this site too so for give me if I don't do it corectly
