Thread: making pasta

For some reason I bought a big bag of Semolina last summer.
I would like to make pasta...any suggestions?
dried vs. fresh
type of pasta machine recommended
I remember my grandmother making noodles, but they did not have a golden color and she dried them. any ideas?
maybe i should have at least one cup of coffee before posting.

This is the pasta machine we have. It works great.
I like it fresh, but if you made a lot, you can let it dry for about an hour and freeze it in a ziplok bag for up to three months.
