Until I hit Atlantic city for the first time.

Funny thing- I did a service call for an elderly lady the other day who is going on the same trip for the same promotion. I found out she has been a 'player' longer than me. And I thought I was the only 'player' in my town

She just got back from Lake Tahoe last week.

You seen any of them shows on later at night, a cable channel, called "Breaking Vegas" all about different schemes and cons there, pretty good.

That's a cool show. I like the guys who figured out a formula to predict where the ball will land on roulette.

The guy who counterfeited the tokens was good too. If he wouldn't have gotten so greedy, he could have knocked them dead for years.

They still don't know which tokens were his either.
Remember how they caught him, besides being on the lookout because the tokens in some of the casinos didn't add up, he was on video at a slot, they saw someone put like $20 bucks in, it didn't work, and he got up and walked off??
They were like, "hey this guys lost his dough in one of our slots and just left, without calling an attendent"
After that, they had his license # and it was only a matter of time.
I think many of these guys they caught, ended up getting hired by the casinos.......

Yeah that guy spent 100k on tooling machines and metal to make the tokens. Then he totally confesses the minute a security officer walks up and says his name and says they need to talk.

If I had an extra 100k laying around the last thing I would be worried about is how to steal money. That guy was the dumbest genious ever.

    I love that show.

did you guys see the one where the dude, who was a TV repair man, figured out how to loot slot machines. Every time the engineers would design 'fool proof' machine, he would figure out how to beat 'em.

At one point he made a tool that you stick in the coin collector and rack up 400 some odd credits a second.

They wanted to legalize riverboat gambling here.
Would have been great. We have lotsa rivers ya know..
They were gonna have limits, like say the most you could gamble on one night cruise would be around $200...something like that.
It was quite a few years ago, before we built the new football and baseball parks.
Merv Griffin offered to build both parks, on his tab, if they voted to give him the concession for the new venue.
The self rightous a-holes in office then voted it down......unreal.

The 200 limit is just a ploy to get it...then they drop it as soon as possible, we have one 95 miles away and many with-in 200 miles...we go rarely but wifey did win 10 thousand a few years back..

    10 grand huh?

oh yea, well I was up 14 grand a few months ago before I took 5 grand to Greektown Casino, Detroit trying to get up to 20 grand.

Well, things didn't work out as planned and I lost the 5 grand, and I was pissed calling myself an idiot(which means I lost more than what I was willing to lose). I haven't been back since. I figger, screw 'em I'm keeping the 9 grand.

However, I have been playing 'club Keno'. I won 1230.00 on the 5 spot. I had to go to Lansing to collect my loot.

    I always play basic strategy.

I know how the count goes, but it takes a lot of concentration to stay accurate. If the dealer deals fast, faggetaboutit!

Did I tell you guys I bought a slot machine? I got the triple diamond deluxe. I bought it after I got peeled for 5 grand.

yea, I said F 'em I'm gonna buy a slot machine, that will teach 'em....

oh, and I want to buy stock in harrah's. The only problem is that it's at 70 bucks a share, which is expensive for me. Boyd gaming is another stock on my buy list.

I figger after this atlantic city trip, if my wife dosen't charge everything under the sun to our room, I should have enough winnings to make a buy
