    Well you better go back and reset that oil DP switch because 40/50 psi is wrong

    sometimes you have to learn how to talk to the customer...sometimes, you just need to NOT tell them some things.

    changing the filter won't hurt anything (if it is done right anyway). the only reason everybody gets so bent out of shape about this subject, is because it is USUALLY (not always) a waste of time...then you have to tell the customer that it is something else and that they paid for parts that did not need changing. it just makes you look bad and delays the correct diagnosis, that's all.
