I stay out of Baltimore City as much as possible. Is North Avenue and Pennsylvania Ave. still the gang war central it was a few years back?

Okay...I'm in ....Still have 2 sisters that live there and it's a chance to show the new wife the slums I grew up in.
And if I get drive by'd while touring the old sights...at least I'll be close to the family plot.
Any civil war history buffs will have a chance to see Antietam, Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry ...they're all within 50 miles. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

Yeah if we left things up to Dice we would never have a convention.Originally posted by dhvac
OK I'm there
come hell or high water the misses and I will be there
I already have it on my schedule for sept 9th to 11th
good to see it moving in the right direction

OK, so 9-10-11.....Inner Harbor, we need to pick a hotel and tell them to save a block of rooms, ask for a discount too. Also see if thay have a party room we can use cheap.
We'll go from there.
You will have much time for long fishing trips or sight seeing on Sat unless if go early, picnic or whatever shoudl start around 3pm??Hey cockroach, don't bug me! ©

The best way I can describe what Robo is referring to is:

It was a riot getting an mental picture of someone from reading thier words for months or years and then actually meeting them in person.

http://www.baltimore.to/ Here is a link to the city of Baltimore . Take a look and decide on a hotel and how many rooms we need to reserve and I will call. You will be able to tell which hotels are right in the Harbor by the prices !

I noticed the higher prices for the Inner Harbor joints, any other ideas? I just think it would be worth it to be near the attractions so we don't need to drive or get a party bus again, any ideas are welcome, we got lotsa time yet.

Wifey is from that area... says that Annapolis may be some thing to look at instead of the Inner Harbor. Very nice area, plenty to see and do, many places to stay that are nice and good rates, great places to eat and drink.
Just thought I would put a monkey in your wrench.
