Nordyne Coil
I have a Nordyne cased coil model # c8ba-x24c-b just wondering what is the best outdoor unit to pair with this coil. I don't know much about it other than it's r-410a. If anybody has any suggestions and maybe some information on what the heck this thing is and the best possible pairing that would be the best and most efficient would be great. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Probably should have a load calc done to find out what size A/C your house needs.

Probably a C6. Being a 2 ton coil, you could use a 1.5 or 2 ton unit on it. As been said, need a load calc to tell which is right for the home.

my house is about 1300 sq ft. completely remodeled plenty of insulation i live in nw ohio. i believe when the guy put it in he said something about a 2 or 2.5 ton unit. I'm really wondering what brand would be the best to pair it with and also who has the best warranty? I know all the major brands claim theirs is the best, but you guys being the pros and having to work on them would really know what's the best. I know Copleand pretty much makes all the compressors for them but the rest of the unit is what concerns me.

You need a licensed HVAC contractor in your area to match equipment to the coil and make sure it is correct for your home. Just any old "2 ton" will not really work with any other old "2 ton". (Equipment manufacturer specifications) You want it to be efficient.
Every problem gives us the opportunity to choose from several solutions: stupidity, ignorance, indifference, or brilliance. Which one will you choose?

Nordyne has several Trade-name brands. Tappan, Gibson, Westinghouse, Maytag to name a few...
Ideally you want the same brand outside as the coil on the inside especially on a product made more specifically for the Nordyne product line. Had it been an ADP, ASPEN, or ALL-STYLE coil...there would be more flexibility of what it can be matched up with because they are considered 3rd Party Coils..."Gentlemen. You can't fight in here.
