Carrier BACnet Help
I have a Carrier AquaSnap air cooled chiller with a BACnet/Modbus Carrier translator that I need to bring into a Jace via BACnet mstp. Does anybody have any documentation on what points are available in this unit. Thanks in advance.

I think with Bacnet you could connect up and discover them yourself.

The Carrier Tranlators do auto discover, and convert the first 64 Carrier points in the controller it finds to BACnet points. If you need specific points those points need to replace the auto discovered points and are mapped using Comfortview or Network Service Tool.

I have a setup using the translator. Carrier gave my customer a list of hundreds of points in which they had to select 60. Then carrier gave my a point map with those points.

You can also use Carrier's new Open Bacnet controller called the UPC, which can come
Factory installed or added in the field. It will expose over 300 points to bacnet. I used them and the work great, you need their new Field Assistant progam or have it set-up at the dealer if it is field installed.
