    Refractory kit for Heat-n-Glo fireplace??

I want a refractory kit for my Heat-n-glo fireplace. I called a local dealer and they wanted $$$$ for the kit, not including labor. This seems like a lot of money for 3 pieces of cermaic. My model is 600Dvtfl. Any other ideas where to get something cheaper.

    Cool use OEM only

The DVT Fl is an old unit so the refractory kits are hard to find and expensive to make. They don't tie up a lot of money in inventory for parts on 15 y/o fireplaces. I'd be glad you could actually get the part if it is indeed from HG. Now, if it is really just some of those generic knockoff refractory panels run like heck. They are not tested nor listed with this fireplace and very well could result in an unfriendly fire. Use OEM parts only.

As hearthman said, only use the OEM kit. So the only place to get it is a dealer.
