I think the $20 hr break point is off I hired on at more than that last year. As far as branch managers taking advantage of techs I can see the incentive to do that but it is not true at my branch. I think who your manager is make all the difference. That can only be seen by a giving him a try. I figured that Benner had some branch managers that would be coming to Lennox also. I hope so we have already pick up customers in states we have not been working in.
If Lennox already had a branch in an area they may still need at least some of the Benner techs since they also got all?/some of the Benner contracts.
I alway hate to see anyone lose a job I hope it works out well for the Benner techs at least until they can get something better. At least this happened during the best time of year to get a job in our field.
Pretty much my thoughts on the situation. its an inccome until i find something else. and im just glad it happened now instead of in jan/feb when nobody is hiring. i am sure that is why lennox planned the buy out for may, to look out for the benner techs that didnt like it. HAHAHAHA kidding on that one
have you met the snake yet? he looks just like him
He would sell his mother if he thought it would benefit him.
Are you talking about the guy you said earlier? "dave the snake?" i think he was down in kentucky while we were there. seemed like a real nice guy or a socialist who made sure you werent thinking anyhting except what he wanted you thinking or he was going to come down on you like a ton of bricks
never worked for benner but have alot of guys with us that came over from benner and commercial air systems after they were bought out by lennox
all i can say is that we are in the service industry and as a technician and i repeat technician it is your responseabitly do do the job correctly,in a timely manner, and most importantly customer satisfaction.where else can you work where you are basicly your own boss, you have a 10,000 a year perk ie a company truck and nobody bothers you for the most part. crybabys, slackers, and wanna bees that cant diagnoise there way out of a paper bag end up doing sh*tty work, call backs and generaly making the industry look bad! if you dont know something why not reach out and call tech support thats what they are there for and oh my god you might even become a better tech.ive seen guy with five years to twenty years exp. that suck you either got it or you dont but why would you not educate yourself on your time or not for your own benifit like the other guy said its what you make it and its a free world if you dont like your situation then change it!
