    Average wage

What do you think an average salary should be for an ac tech with 11 years experience?

$15 to $55 an hour, depending on location and experience.

around here KFC pays $10, janitors make $12, school bus drivers $16, $15/hr would buy you a community college graduated with fluorescent green dripping from his ears.

A tech with 11 years of experience should be making $20+hr residential or $30+hr commercial, that's average non-union wages.

Loaded question. All depends on area and what your working on. Somebody doing residential out in the middle of nowhere isn't going to make the same as a chiller tech in a large city.
