working on a resturant doing some relocation work and the owner asked a question that control wise i wasnt to sure about, he asked if he could put an additional heat/cool unit on the dinning side to help with an occasional problem of the resturant on the hottest days being a little under powered, that was easy enought to firgure, except he only wants the new unit to run when the other one cant keep up.that where im stumped,is there a t-state that does that or are we talking a bunch of controls?

A two stage cooling stat with the Y2 and common to an isolation relay controlling the Y and R of the supplemental unit will also work.
