    Question

    I just finish a trade school and dont have no field experience just what i learn in school working with 3 ton units. If i land a union job what type of hourly wages do they start out with?? and how those it works do i get a raise every 6 months and after 2 years what m i looking at if i start out with 10 dollars?????????? $$$$$....................THANKS

    Depends on which union/local you get in with.
    In my field, it can range from 19@hr to 44@hr.

    Its local 638 most shops i call or wana work for...

    try this site for the incoming rates http://www.steamfitters.com and go to Metal Trades which is 638B for the service techs,and rates.did you try Donnelly Mechanical http://www.donnellymech.com/site/index2.php they are always looking for young and new to the field...very progressive shop with new installs up the ying yang.give York(midtown offices)and Trane(L.I.C.)calls with all the work within the city they do,taking the train/subway to jobs to hook-up with a tech would be a big learning experience for you.
